Georgia's Dual Enrollment program provides funding for high school students to earn both high school courses and college credits while taking college courses through a participating Georgia college or university. The Dual Enrollment program is available to any Georgia student in grades 9 - 12 enrolled in a public school, private school, or home-study program operated pursuant to O.C.G.A. 20-2-690 in Georgia. All students must apply and be accepted to a participating Georgia college or university. If WCHS students are interested in earning credits within the Dual Enrollment program, the following steps are vital to the process:
- Communicate Dual Enrollment interests to Dr. Whirl or Mrs. Hunter.
- Meet with Dr. Whirl or Mrs. Hunter to determine options and eligibility (college entrance exam scores, GPA, graduation requirements, etc.)
- Complete all applications and additional institutional requirements.
