#SeniorSpotlight: Beyonce' Walker

#SeniorSpotlight: Meet Beyonce' Walker! Beyonce' is a member of FBLA and former dance team member at WCHS. Beyonce's future plans are to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist. She hopes to become a person that can help others when they're in need and put a smile on their faces by blessing them when she can.

Describe your senior year in three words.

Exciting, overwhelming, and Challenging

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to attend college to become a Dental Hygienist.

Who or what was most helpful or influential to you in your high school career, both in school and outside of school?

Dr. Whirl has been helpful to me during my senior year. Anytime I go to her office about a school I want to look at, she gets right on it with no questions asked. Also my sister and a couple of my cousins are very helpful with all or any questions I may have about college or any financial things I may need to prepare for college.

What extracurricular activities did /do you participate in high school?

I was on the dance team my 10th grade year . I've been in FBLA for three years and I enjoy participating in events with them when possible.

In my spare time, I...

I go to work because I enjoy having my own money and "being in my bag", helping others out,  talking on the phone with friends, and going shopping!

What was your dream job as a kid? Are you still pursuing that same dream?

My dream job as a kid was to become a nurse or a school teacher but as the years went on I kind of noticed that teaching wasnt for me. Nursing is still a possibiltiy for me but at this time I'm pursuing dental hygience since it interest me more.

I hope to be a person who...

That can help people when they are in need and see someone smile from the little blessings that I’ve done for them.

If you could create one course for future seniors, what would it be?
If I could create one course for future seniors,  it would be a cosmetology class because a lot of young ladies at our school have talent that needs to be explored.

My last words to the underclassmen:
Keep striving to be great and never let what someone say knock you off your grind; Keep your friends close and your enemies CLOSER.

Don’t be afraid to be different or stand out; Let your inner self show. Be yourself no matter the situation.

Keep God first and remember to always do your best no matter how hard it gets or what life throws at you. Never give up.
