🎓✨ Honors Day Celebration 2026 ✨🎓 Today we proudly celebrated our outstanding students at Wilkinson County High School during our annual Honors Day Program! This special occasion recognizes the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence demonstrated throughout the school year. From Honor Roll recipients to subject-area awards and special recognitions, our students continue to raise the bar and represent the true spirit of the Warriors. Their commitment to excellence inside and outside the classroom makes us incredibly proud. A special thank you to our teachers, counselors, and families for supporting and encouraging our students every step of the way. Your guidance plays a vital role in their success. Today in Mr. Knight's Engineering Concepts classes, students are learning how engineers document their design process by researching, building, and testing a cardboard chair. 📦
There's no final result just yet, but students have created mock-ups and prototypes using geometry and algebraic concepts to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity. We can't wait to see the final product!
Mr. Knight's Engineering and other courses are directly aligned with TSA, our CTAE organization, he advises.

Day 2️⃣ | TSA – Technology Tuesday 💻📱 Today we’re celebrating TSA by dressing up and twinning with your cell phone case or lock screen to show your support for technology and innovation! From engineers and designers to programmers and problem-solvers, TSA represents creativity, leadership, and the future of technology. We’re excited to highlight the students who are building the world of tomorrow!

Students in JROTC have set up a mini mart in the commons area! This experience teaches prior planning, teamwork, and overall financial decision-making. Students brainstorm as a team about budgeting, pricing, and financial responsibility, eventually deciding the best outcome of the team. With each sale, they become closer to their established goal.

This hands-on experience in real-world economics can be directly linked to "making students competent builders of a globally competitive future."

Step into King Louis XIV’s court at Versailles 👑✨ Today, students became nobles navigating the royal court, choosing which events to attend while the King skillfully distracted them. With a “menu” of court activities—each costing time and influence—students had to think strategically, make trade-offs, and experience firsthand how power, privilege, and politics shaped life at Versailles. History came alive as our nobles learned that every choice at court had consequences.

Day 1️⃣ | HOSA – Medical Monday 🩺 Today we’re celebrating HOSA by dressing like you’re joining the medical field! From future doctors and nurses to EMTs and healthcare leaders, Day 1 of CTSO Spirit Week is all about recognizing students with a passion for medicine and helping others. We’re excited to kick off the week by highlighting HOSA and the impact it has on preparing students for careers in healthcare.

Senior Night was absolutely successful. We proudly celebrated our seniors and recognized the dedication, leadership, and impact they’ve made on our program. Thank you to everyone who came out to show love and support—this night was truly special and unforgettable. 💙💛

National School Counseling Week 2026 (#NSCW26) is observed February 2–6, 2026, to recognize the unique and impactful contributions of school counselors. This year’s theme, “School Counselors Amplify Student Success,” truly reflects the outstanding work of our high school counseling department. We proudly celebrate Mrs. Lauren Hunter, Graduation Coach / CTAE Director / WBL Coordinator, and Ms. Heather Barton, High School Counselor / Dual Enrollment Coordinator, for their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to supporting and empowering our students every day. 🎓💙💛
