After circulating the school and visiting classrooms, I witnessed Mrs. Still and Coach Young annotating the Georgia Milestone Narrative Writing Checklist with students during second block.

The principal advisory council met with Dr. Jamie Paulk, WCHS Principal, this week. This group represents the student body to give feedback on student learning, culture and climate of the school, and opportunities for student success.

Join us on Thursday, March 20, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM for Parent-Teacher Conferences & GA Milestones Night! Connect with teachers, discuss progress, and get valuable resources to support student success.
At 5:00 PM in the Palace, we’ll also host Work-Based Learning (WBL) & Dual Enrollment Night—learn how students can gain career experience and earn college credit while in high school!

Our middle and high school ELA teachers and administrators are committed to student success! With the support of our District Instructional Support Specialists, they analyzed reading trend data across the state and explored the new ELA standards. These conversations help strengthen instruction and ensure our students are prepared for success.
