Rafael Cruz, 9th grade honor band student, passed district auditions representing Wilkinson County. He managed to conquer this feat on not one but TWO instruments and made the roster for the performing band for both instruments! Through his hard work and dedication starting from 6th grade, he was able to practice and become audition ready for both Alto Saxophone and Baritone Saxophone.
The District 11 Honor Band performed on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Baldwin County High School's Performing Arts Center. Xavier Walker serves as Band Director at the Wilkinson County High School.
